We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Office Manager & Scheduler for our Sioux City office.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, an eye for detail and the ability to multitask!

Pay: DOE

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, rotating on-call schedule

Benefits: Available the first of the month following 30 days of employment

Essential Responsibilities  Office Manager

  • Serve as the first impression to visitors and customers in person and via the telephone. Answer and direct inquiries when appropriate.
  • Maintain all personnel files to ensure their completion according to company policies.
  • Assist in the hiring process by ensuring pre-employment requirements are completed and maintain a database to ensure employee’s credentials are current.
  • Maintain a tracking system to ensure that information sent from the office is returned in a timely fashion (i.e. documentation review, education for staff, etc.).
  • Complete Medicaid and insurance eligibility verifications for clients.
  • Verify accuracy of field staff documentation on weekly basis.
  • Keep the office running smoothly by maintaining office supply inventory, sorting and distributing mail, etc.
  • Responsible for various filing, inputting, editing, retrieving, coping and transmitting of information.

 

Essential Responsibilities  Scheduler

  • Create and distribute monthly schedules for field nurses. 
  • Adjust and organize the schedule as needed to fulfill staffing commitments to clients.
  • Completes timekeeping each pay period for field nurses.
  • Monitor client hours and frequencies, communicate with managers and complete scheduling notifications as needed.
  • Perform data entry by creating correspondence, memos, forms, etc. using various systems.
  • Arrange orientation in clients’ homes with managers and field staff.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the 24-hour on-call rotation for scheduling emergencies with clients and staff.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in scheduling strongly preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to operate office equipment is required.
  • Team player with a GREAT attitude.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized and efficient.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Office.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verb and written.
  • Valid Iowa driver's license and proof of financial liability auto insurance.
